Pattern- image bank

This first image shows a natural pattern found in a plant. I like this image as every leaf in the plant are similar  if not the same and the leaves are all in concentric circles.
I think one of the best things about this image is that its a natural pattern and only when you know to look for it will you see it.

The second image shows another natural pattern but this time on the feathers on a peacock.
I chose to write about this image as its unusual for some thing that is not man made to be so symmetrical and i like how the bright blues and greens in the middle of each circle on the feather stand out against the darker grey/brown of the feathers.

The  next two images are all man made patterns, the first is a row of street lights. I like this image as although they are put in rows to serve purpose they also have a pattern that, when photographed correctly, look nice. The second image is a group of windows on a building. I like this image as every square window on the building is exact the same size and exactly the same size apart.

The third image is a row on lines that are used to separate a road. I like this image as it  shows a pattern in something that is usually overlooked.

The final image is a close up of a leaf. The ridges of this leaf  form a consistent pattern. This image, like the first shows a natural pattern. i like this image as all of the lines of the leaf are perfectly straight and form a perfect pattern.
