Evaluation of session;
I enjoyed taking photos of 'Form' as i liked paying attention to shadows and which was the sun was facing to try and take a 'good' photo including the topic form. However i found the session to be slightly difficult as, although the sun casts a shadow on almost everything, it was still difficult to find a good shadow that will make the object look three dimensional in the two dimensional picture.
This was my favourite of all of the photos i had taken during that session. I like it as it captures a lot of different shadows that make the tree and the building look three dimensional. The first shadow is on the building in the background, one side is dark and the other side is light, making it look 3d, the second shadow is the one casted by the tree and the third is the shadow on the tree, both of these shadows make the tree look more three dimensional.
The second picture i've chosen to evaluate is this one of the shade casted by a person. I like this picture as although we know that he is three dimensional in real life, in the photo he is two dimensional as it is only a photograph but the shadow that he casts causes him to look three dimensional. Similarly, as there is darker shadows on his jumper and jeans, it allows us to see the persons dimensions and the clothing's texture.
Progression;
If we were to continue to take pictures of the topic 'Forms' i would look closer into flowers and leaves to look at the shadows casted in the them rather than the shadow casted by them as the majority of my picture were of the shadows casted by the object.
