4 annotated pictures;
The first image i found from the internet shows the texture of a tree trunk. As the light is shining directly on it we can see that the surface of it isn't smooth, instead it is rough and slightly bumpy as we can see there is ridges in the tree trunk that are apparent through the darker lines on the funk showing where it is deeper.
This second image shows the texture of an elephants face. The texture of it is rough, mostly at the top as there are more lines in the top half of its face than the bottom. Texture is shown as it is a very close up of its face so we can see all of the details on it.
The third image shows the texture of a leaf. As the light is shining down the middle of the leaf we can clearly see where there are higher up parts and where the veins of the leaf are slightly sunken in, therefore the lighting again is showing us that this leaf is not smooth asa some parts of it are more raised than others.
The final picture shows the texture of a wooden floor. We can clearly see that although there is darker colours on the wood, suggesting that it should be bumpy, it is actually smooth and the way the photograph was taken ,the light is reflecting off of the surface without anything blocking it, showing to us that the surface is smooth.
