Movement- Work Diary.

Evaluation of session;
When we were told we had to take photographs of 'movement' i was unsure as to how i was supposed to take a photo of movement as a photo is just a snapshot in time but once it was explained to us, how to capture movement in a photograph it became slightly simpler. However whilst we were outside take the pictures i found that i ran out of things to take pictures of fairly quickly as after taking pictures of people moving and trees moving in the wind, it became increasingly difficult to find something to take a photo of.

The first photograph i have chosen to write about shows a person walking at a fast pace. The movement is shown through the person and the background being blurry. When i was taking this photo i was moving the camera, which caused the background to blur and the boy was moving so he was also blurry.
The second photograph i have chosen to write about shows the movement of me moving the camera around as i was taking the photograph. I like this photograph because usually when i think of movement in a photograph i think of the thing the photo is of moving, but this one shows that photographs can show the movement of the actually camera, rather than the subject the photo has been taken of.

Progression;
If i were to g out and take more photographs of movement i would like to take photos of light moving, such as car lights, or glow sticks in a dark room as i like the light trail left behind the light when it has moved at a reasonably fast speed, as shown the the two photos below.
