Reflection- Work diary.

Evaluation or session;
When we were told we had to go out and take photographs of reflection, i understood what was meant by reflection but i was worried that i would run out of things to take photographs of quite quickly, and i found that i did as there was not a large variation of things that have a reflection, the majority of photographs i took were of the reflection in mirrors and windows as i just found it difficult to find anything else around me that had a reflection.

The first picture of mine i have chosen to write about is this one of the reflection of myself and two others in a window. I like this image as you can see whats in the room on the other side so we can tell that the photographs was taken looking into a window. I also like how if you look closely at our reflections you can see that there is two reflections, one slightly above the other, which makes the picture look slightly distorted.

The second image is of me and another person taking a picture of our reflections in a mirror inside of a lift. I have chosen to write about this picture as most of the other photographs o had taken are of reflections in a window, but this one is not. When i think of the word reflection i automatically think of a mirror as it is the most common and well known reflection that we see everyday, so i chose to use a mirror in the photograph.



Progression;
If we were to go out again and take more pictures of reflection i would try to find more original places that have a relocation like on cars and things that we see everyday but don't use to look at our reflection, like we do with mirrors or when walking past a window and look at our reflection. I would also like to look at reflection in water as i think that it differs from the man made things that have reflections, that i have already taken photographs of.
