Contrast- image bank

All of these images show the different contrasts that can be shown through photography. All of the photographs i have chosen show how there is many different forms of contrast that we see everyday but may not notice. The first two photographs show how colour is a main form of contrast between light and dark or vibrant and dull. The third, forth and fifth photos show how there is many contrasts between people, the third showing the contrast between age, the forth showing contrast between gender and the fifth being the contrast between wealth and status. The final image shows how there is a contrast between tone, the candles in pitch black show the main contrast that we see everyday between darkness and light, also in the last photo i like how the reflection of the candles in the water creates a gradate of grey tones which makes the contrast between the light of the candle and the dark background above it even more noticeable.
